A British schoolboy has been excluded from lessons after he organised a mass protest over a lack of homework.
Aaron Parfitt, 14, led 100 of his fellow pupils on a walkout at Bispham High School in Blackpool on 12 March over concerns about teaching standards.
Despite his eagerness to learn, Aaron was told he wasbanned from lessons for the next two days, and now claims to have been excluded again ahead of a meeting between teachers and his mother on 17 March.
Aaron originally contacted Blackpool Council and Ofsted to raise concerns over the quality of teaching before losing patience and organising the 100-strong walkout last Wednesday.
Teachers took a dim view of his actions and excluded him for two days on Thursday and Friday last week - much to the anger of his mother Janet, 52.
'I'm absolutely fuming they've excluded him because he's doing the best he can to get a good education,' she said
'He was only trying to stick up for himself and his mates and then he gets told to stay away from the school for two days,' she added.
Aaron said: 'We've had loads of different teachers and we weren't getting enough homework.I failed my maths exam in school and I was really worried because I just wanted to make sure I was able to do the work properly.'
55.What can we infer from the passage?

Staff Sgt, Nicholas Lanier has entered what he calls the "vast unknown. "" A combat veteran and father to four daughters, he can"t remain in the military because of a serious back injury earned in Iraq.
But he can"t yet accept a civilian job because he doesn"t know when the military will discharge(使退伍) him. He has no clue how much the government will pay him in disability compensation related to his injury, so he can"t make a future budget. He just waits.
Thousands of troops are like Lanier: not fully fit to serve but in limbo (无着落) for about two years waiting to get discharged under a new system that was supposed to be more efficient than its predecessor. And the delays are not only affecting service members, but the military"s readiness as well. New troops can"t enlist until others are discharged.
The government determines the pay and benefits given to wounded, sick or injured troops for their military service. Under the old system, a medical board would determine their level of military compensation and the service member would be discharged. Then the veteran essentially would have to go through the process again with the Veterans Affairs Department to determine benefits.
Under the new system, which started in 2007 and will be completely rolled out at military bases nationwide by the end of September, the service member essentially goes through both disability evaluation systems at the same time before leaving the military. But the new, supposedly streamlined, system is still such a cumbersome process that it"s leaving many service members in limbo, they say.
Why can‘t Sgt. Lanier serve in the military anymore? 查看材料
A.Because of his injured back.
B.Because of his hand.
C.Because his vision has worsened.
D.Because he has a civilian job.

Career Change
A. People who are thinking about changing careers are often afraid of what will happen if they quit their job. Will they find another one? Will they like another field as well as the one they are in now? Will they be able to grow and advance in a new organization?
B. As these questions come to mind, they should try to figure out the answers so they can reach a decision. Although there is a high rate of unemployment in some countries, there are usually jobs for skill ed workers who ca use computers or other equipment. Those who have specialized training in these areas can generally find a position without too much effort.
C .The question of whether they' II like another field more than their current one is also a crucial one. While it' s nice to dream about having another job , the reality may be that they aren't suited for it. For example , if an architect likes to cook but has no idea about how to run a business , it may be risky for him to open a restaurant. He can cook for his friends on weekends and satisfy his dreams of being a chef in that way.
D. Another good way for a person to find out if she will be successful in a new field is to try it out as a part-time job. Being an event planner sounds glamorous but helping friends with parties or weddings might show her that it also very stressful. However, if she has the creativity and organization necessary for such a position , she can continue to plan events for friends until she builds up a reputation. Then she can leave her current job to look for a job in event planning knowing that she' ll be successful in this area.
E. Once a person has found his or her specialty and decides on the change , it' s necessary to stick with it until the business gets off the ground. This usually takes about five years. If the move has been from one company to another, the person should stay until it is clear he is doing a good job and can advance to a higher position. Following this advice will make the transition smoother and the career change successful.
